On Sunday, March 26th, the new officers were installed for the year 2023-24. The Grand Exalted Ruler performing the ceremony was PDD Paul Crumb from Peekskill Elks Lodge #744.
The ceremony was followed by dinner with speeches by Board Chair, Ben Lasher,…
House Chair, Dave Travis, …
and Veterans Chair, Leading Knight Darci Hover.
The following awards were presented:
Outstanding Service Commendation: Terri Brew
Elks Distinguished Citizenship Award: Joe Laviano
Elk Of The Year: Richard Fisher
The Lodge also received the Making A Difference Special Citation award, which was accepted on behalf of the Lodge by Board Chair Ben Lasher.
Exalted Ruler Anne Leiser was presented with a personalized gavel by outgoing ER John Piddock.
