Kinderhook Elks hosted a Summer Luau for developmentally disabled adults in the pavilion at the side of the Lodge. It was a humid, 90-degree day but everyone had a great time.

The free event was organized by Linda Baker who had many helpers, including her daughter Mandy Dugan, Rosemarie Balfoort, Rhea Cotsonas, Kathi Jonas, Erin Pulver, and Annette Bellingham. Special thanks to Marilyn Neander, who helps at every special needs event. The grill was manned by Larry Knott and Jack Novak, neither of whom seemed to break a sweat, in spite of the heat!

The guests also celebrated the birthday 32nd birthday of Jaime Adams.
