Members of Kinderhook Elks Lodge marched in the Kinderhook Memorial Day Parade. This year, the parade marched along Route 9 from just past the Carolina House into the Kinderhook Village Square. The parade was led by the American Legion and the Ichabod Crane Band.
A wreath-laying ceremony in the village square was directed by American Legion and Kinderhook Elk member, Tom Burrell. Leading Knight Chris Bellingham read the first world-war poem "In Flanders Field."
