This year was the 25th anniversary of the D.A.R.E. program at Ichabod Crane. The program was started in 1991 by Bill Vick and the Kinderhook Elks Lodge.

This year 125 students from the 5th grade, participated in 14 weeks of classes. At the awards ceremony each student received a certificate for completing the program. After the awards, the Kinderhook Elks served hot dogs, hamburgers and soda to the students and their families.
