December 3rd, 2022 - Veterans Christmas Party
On Saturday afternoon, Kinderhook Elks hosted a Christmas Party for local veterans. The event was paid for by the Joseph P. Dwyer fund and organized by Gary Flaherty of the Columbia County Veterans Services Agency in Hudson.
November 9th, 2022 - Veterans Day Dinner
On Wenesday evening, a crew led by PER Joe Laviano perpared and served 125 meals to veterans, their spouses, and their widows. It was so well attended that more seating had to be setup in the bar area.
November 5th, 2022 - New Member Initiation
On Sunday, November 5th, during the District Deputy's visitation, Kinderhook Elks initiated three new members into the order.
September 11th, 2022 - New member Initiation
On Sunday, September 11th, Kinderhook Elks initiated five new members into the order.

On Sunday, August 14th, Kinderhook Elks initiated eight new members into the order.
July 23rd, 2022 - Second Annual Car Show
On Saturday, July 23rd, Kinderhook Elks hosted their second annual car show at the Columbia County Fairground. Though temperatures were in the upper 90s, there was a good turn-out, with over 130 cars on display.
July 10th, 2022 - East Coast Riders Summer Barbecue
On Sunday, East Coast Riders held their 20th annual summer barbecue in our lodge pavilion.
July 9th, 2022 - Ichabod Crane HS Reunion
On July 9th, members of the Ichabod Crane High School Class of 1972 celebrated their 50th year reunion in the Lodge pavilion.
June 20th, 2022 - Ichabod Crane Softball Dinner
Kinderhook Elks hosted a spaghetti dinner in honor of the Ichabod Crane girls softball team, Kinderhook Riders, after they won the NY State Class B softball championship.
June 18th, 2022 - Special Needs Luau
Kinderhook Elks hosted a free Luau in the pavilion for individuals with disabilities on Saturday evening. The event was organized by Tammy McDermott and Lee Ann Alessi and run with the help of seven volunteers.
June 12th, 2022 - Flag Day Service
Patriotism has characterized the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America since the early days of the organization. Allegiance to the flag of our country is a requirement of every member.
June 5th, 2022 - New Member Initiation
On Sunday afternoon, we initiated seven new members into the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. After the ritual, refreshments and snacks were served upstairs in the lounge.
May 30th, 2022 - Memorial Day Parade
Members of Kinderhook Elks Lodge marched in the Kinderhook Memorial Day Parade. This year, the parade marched along Route 9 from just past the Carolina House into the Kinderhook Village Square. The parade was led by the American Legion and the Ichabod Crane Band.
May 7th, 2022 - SVP Homecoming Dinner
On Saturday, May 7th, Kinderhook Elks hosted a homecoming reception to honor State Vice President John R. Piddock.
At the start of the event, member Jim Yager delivered the invocation and the pledge of allegiance was led by Tom Miglio. Guests were welcomed by Past District Deputy Leo Buell and visiting dignitaries were introduced by Past District Deputy Steve Race.
May 1st, 2022 - Ichabod Crane Basketball Dinner
May is National Youth Month within the Elks, so, to celebrate their recent NY state basketball win, Kinderhook Elks invited Ichabod Crane boys basketball team, their families, and coaches to a celebratory dinner at the Lodge. Members of the Valatie town board were there to read a proclamation. Coach Will Ferguson cut the cake.
April 16th, 2022 - Easter Bunny visits village square
Kinderhook Elks hosted the Easter Bunny in the Kinderhook Village Square on Saturday. In addition to meeting the Easter Bunny, kids were treated to candy, ice cream (generously donated by Stewarts) and free entry into a raffle for one of three plush bunnies.
April 10th & 17th, 2022 - Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
The Easter Bunny joined us for breakfast. This is a popular, annual event that fills the breakfast dining room with families. Kids have their photo taken with the bunny, who then hands out small bags of candy.
April 3rd, 2022 - Eagle Scout Award
An Eagle Scout Court of Honor was held on Sunday April 3rd for Sean NeJaime of Kinderhook Troop 113.
March 27th, 2022 - Installation of Officers
On Sunday, March 27th, the new officers for the 2022-23 year were installed by PERs. After the ceremony, awards were presented.
March 10th, 2019 - District Initiation
On Sunday, March 10th, a district-wide initiation ritual was performed at the Kinderhook Elks lodge. Five new members were initiated into the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. The ritual was performed from memory by officers of Kinderhook Lodge, joined by PSVP Deb Minners from Hudson Lodge #787, who stood in as Esquire.
