I would like to thank everyone who signed up for parking, and if you didn't sign up but show up that would be great. I thank you for that. We are trying so hard to get people involved. This organization has been around for over 100 years. We can't continue to grow and move forward without new people with a commitment to the Lodge and the community we serve.
Lodge visitations and the fall conference are some of the Elks activities coming up. If anyone would like to attend, you are more than welcome. The Fall Conference is at the Desmond Hotel in Albany from September 23rd through the 25th.
We are also in need of someone to chair the Special Needs Prom. If interested, please let us know.
Virginia is chairing the Lodge yard sale to be held right after the Fair is over. Clean gently used items can be brought to the Lodge and placed in the basement. Help will be needed on Wednesday the 8th to bring things out and get them set up. The sale runs Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th.
We are having a chicken BBQ on Saturday the 11th. If you can sell tickets or are able to help in any way, please reach out to Ben Lasher.
A Lodge Crawl is planned for October 23rd, let me know ASAP if you will be joining us. The more the merrier.
As always if you have an idea lets us know, let us see what we can do to make it happen. Thank you for everything you do for the Lodge and the community we serve.
