The leaves are falling, the weather is changing, and we are still working. The Lodge has been doing events not only to keep the Lodge moving forward but to pay our bills and still support the community. The hood is almost finished so that will make having functions like the steak bake and sub nights a little easier in the colder weather. We are taking this one day at a time.
Joe is planning a philly cheese steak night on November 14th. If you are interested in helping, reach out and let Joe know. If you have an idea, please let us know. We need your help. Stegmann is still a go!! Great news!! We are still working out the details and when we finalize the plan we will be reaching out for wrappers, drivers and delivery people. We will be staggering events over a few days to keep with social distancing.
October was our annual audit and inspection by the DD and his crew. Thank you especially to Jerry Shook, Joe Laviano and Ben Lasher for all the prep work. The Lodge passed. One of the comments from the audit team “the best books we’ve ever seen”.
Do you have an idea that you think will work at the Lodge? Come to a meeting and tell us. Meetings are less than an hour and they start at 7:30. Meetings are the 2nd and 4th Monday’s of the month.
I know it’s only November, but we are in need of officers for the 2021-2022 Lodge year. New blood and new ideas are always needed. Please come ask questions, find out what is involved. There are always people here willing to help along the way. Thank you to everyone for all you do for the Lodge and the community we serve. We would not be where we are today without the commitment and dedication of our members.
