WOW!!! Time flies when you’re having fun! We are one month into the new Lodge year, and there is a ton of activity on the horizon! The advertising is set and new placemats with some terrific new business's have joined in. Terri Brew and her membership committee are implementing some new and exciting events to their roster. Darci and Gordie have the Honor Flag program in full swing and we have scheduled this year’s Lodge Veteran dinner and the Columbia County Veteran Christmas party as well. We are excited to bring this program home to our lodge for our community and our heroes. The flags will wave with pride and honor, and grace our lawn with legacy and tradition.
We are diving into the list of members that have yet to turn in their dues and are down to just a few and the listed is posted on the board at the bar :)
June 4th is the initiation ceremony so polish the shoes and press the shirt, we have a few surprises and a sideboard of delicious snacks planned. We can’t wait to see you there to welcome and support our new members and our officers.
June 11th is Flag Day at the Lodge. Both events are scheduled for 3pm, and we have chosen one of our members to be the guest speaker (it’s a surprise) so come see! There are sign-up sheets on the board for for making refreshments for the events.
The Farmers Market is starting soon and we are still in need of people to man the booth and get our name and our mission out to the public. Many people don't know much about the Lodge, what we stand for, and all that we do in the community. 2023’s goal is 50 new members!!!!!!!!!
As we ramp up to prepare for all of these events and programs you will see some things move, change or get streamlined. Be patient as we move forward to make the 2530 the best it can be!!!!
Please remember the golden rule - do unto others as you would have done unto you.
Thank you for everything you do for the Lodge and the community we serve!!
